DfMA, MMC & Off-Site Build

Using advancements in digital technology our Design for Manufacture and Assembly (DfMA),  Modern Methods of Construction (MMC), and Off-Site Build (OSB) methodologies have been part of our standard mode of operation for almost 10 years.  Using the latest techniques we have been sustainably delivering; skid based pump-sets, fully contained MCC Kiosk Control Rooms with access steelwork,  modular eel screen assemblies, and packaged chemical dosing plant, all assets which our valued customers are proud to own and operate.

These processes, are embedded into our systems and procedures, receiving continuous endorsement from our clients, positioning Bridges as a Trusted Intelligent Engineering Partner and innovator  in this field.  Our methods have also been demonstrated to be carbon friendly and better for the environment.

Using these approaches your project can benefit from:

  • Reduced Carbon,
  • Concurrent programme savings (Our Off-Site build can run concurrently with site programmes)
  • Products are built in a controlled environment, driving up quality and reducing safety risks.
  • Repeatable standardised designs
  • Reduced Operational Risk to your site processes with less activity being carried out on site.

Our manufacturing facility is located at Engineering House, just south of Bath and Bristol.  We have over 60,000 sq/ft of manufacturing workshops, including a DWI approved welding and fabrication shop.  This facility is in easy reach of the major road networks enabling our products to be delivered to your sites throughout England and Wales.
